Crochet Pendant

My first attempt at needlework jewelry!

I used this pattern: [link] by Anne Potter. However, I left off the last round of the top motif, and eliminated the base motif, mostly for reasons of time. Used 2 skeins of silver embroidery floss; I'm not sure of the hook size... pretty sure it's larger than a G though, which is what the pattern calls for.
I'll add another picture of the chain, which is of my own design.

I crocheted this in a few hours, all told. I planned to wear a simple black dress to a formal event, and wanted to add a touch of individuality to it. Think I succeeded. It ended up somewhat big for a necklace, but I liked it.
